We had a topic called 'Nobel awards' this week and we got information about dynamite. In fact, I hadn't got much knowledge about Nobel awards. Nobels awards are given in various classes: Literature, economy, policy... A large amount of money is given as an award. It is extraordinary. I consider that I may have this award in literature. I am interested in literature. I may prepare many projects with the money I get. Even dreaming of this is unbelievable. What would you do if you see a news about you in a newspaper when you wake up in a morning? Don't worry, there is no good/bad advertisement. :)
ReplyDeleteThis week I learned information about Nobel Prizes.I knew Alfred Nobel invented dynamite,but I didn't know how he decided to give Nobel Prizes.I think it was totally dramatic.Nobody wants to be remembered like that.His decision to use his money for awards was great and beneficial.Everybody wants to be rich.These awards can encourage people to invent something.I think all of the criterias are true.Ideas must be individual.However,if people share an idea,they must say that they invented together.I haven't known these criterias before.In conclusion,I learned many things about Nobel Prizes and Alfred Nobel.

We have read two passages about Nobel Prizes. In the first passage,it mentions about Nobel organization. I no longer know that there is a way which we can appreciate the people who serve humanity. Thanks to the second passage, I could easily understand the motto, "No pain, no gain." Marie Cruie succeeds to be an important person in science. If I were the people who choose the winner in Nobel, I would completely try to be very careful. Because it's important to choose right one without thinking nationality or popularity. I support the money award therefore scientists may be more enthusiastic to learn new things.

ReplyDeleteI want to say my opinions about this subjects. I think Mr. Nobel is a helpful and a peaceful pearson. We shouldn’t think bad things about him. He wanted to make useful things with dynamite, but bad people used it to give harm to people. For this reason, he known a killer. It isn’t true. If he was a killer, he didn’t give a lot of money of his fortune to establish Nobel Prizes. Choosing Nobel Prize Winners has many rules. These are opinions of Alfred Nobel. I think they are so strict. Reading texts were very nice. I liked them. The authors give us everything. Especially, the second text has many examples.
Alfred Nobel was the third son of Immanuel Nobel and Andriette Ahlsell Nobel. Born in Stockholm on 21 October 1833. He invented to dynamite. ) it became safer and more convenient to handle, and this mixture he patented in 1867 as 'dynamite'. , Nobel had also considered naming the highly powerful substance "Nobel's Safety Powder", but settled with Dynamite instead, referring to the Greek word for 'power'. Dynamite is very dangerous. A lot of people died because of the dynamite but Nobel invented dynamite not a bad idea. he won the money spent for charity. he won the money spent for the scientists.He was a bad invention but he has spent to earn the good things.

ReplyDeleteI don't know information about Alfred Nobel.I have learned new.Nobel happened both bad and good for his.İt happened bad because some people thinked kill his.He was very sad.İt happened good because he proved development for next.Dynamite availabilities in numerous fields.
I think it depents on type of the branch therefore we can not talk about criteria. I want to talk about all of the branch. It is not important where participator born or their nationality.
ReplyDeleteI have learned about Alfred Nobel and his contest last week.Alfred Nobel had invented dynamite.Dynamite was using to construct railroads ,tunnels,and dams,however; it was using the to wars.Alfred Nobel was a peaceful man.His bad nickname was 'The Dynamite King' so he thought 'The world was going to remember me'.Alfred Nobel didnt want people to remember him as'The Dynamite King'. He had spent his lafe working for peace.He established the Nobel Prize.This contest includes physics,chemistry,leterature.People who won Nobel Prizes earned much money.
ReplyDeleteAlfred Nobel is a inventor who is invented dynamite.He learned about explosives from his father.After his father died Nobel and his parents moved back to Sweden.Firstly,he invented black powder but it was not very powerful so Alfred invented a new liquid explosive.Its name was nitroglycerin.It was more powerful thna black powder but it was difficult to use.In 1864,Alfred's younger brother died.In 1867,Alfred learned how to make a safe explosive from nitroglycerin.He invented dynamite.Dynamite means ''power''

ReplyDeleteLast week wee read two texts about Alfred Nobel and I learned very much information about him.For example,Alfred Nobel's invention of dynamite made him rich and famous.In addition,Alfred Nobel spent his life working for peace in the world.In my opinion,he was really lucky,because he invented dynamite and he got rich.I admired him,because he gave his entire fortune to the Nobel Foundation.I think,he made self-sacrifice.Sure,I like this reading text because the author exactly give necessary and fact information to us.I also hate violence as Alfred Nobel.As a result,I will remember as the man of peace.
