As you can guess, this is our last assignment for reading class:) our topic is earthquakes. Have you ever experienced an earthquake? What do you think about the survivor's story in our book? What can you tell us about the earthquakes?

I was in Antalya when the the earthquake in August 1999 occured. Our air condition system went off. When we woke up we tried to open the tv but it wasn't turn on. 3 hours later we tried again and we watched the news. I never forgotten the news. I was shocked. We were far away from the earthquake but we sensed it. I thought about the humans how could they behave. I think earthquakes are worst natural disaster because it happens suddenly. If earthquake magnititude over than 8 you can not run out. I hope we never get experience again..
